The last FO I flew with waited 6 weeks between their PC and IOE. The check airman have all been doing 100% IOE/OE for the last few months but that's still the bottleneck. I say enjoy the time and do some traveling. Study enough to stay sharp.

Most everyone that had to wait was dash. Emb training just started and wont be on IOE for awhile so no actual insight there. No vacation first year so enjoy Time off and travel. At least its min guarantee from day 1 and since I wanted to build time quick(880 hours here) i am able to fly 95-100 hours a month. I know a classmate who picked up 130 hours last month lol. Schedules arent great but thats because were low on pilots. Once more people hop on board i think itll get better.

Some people try to hit 1000 early and have a month off. You do get paid min guarantee and time off until e rolling 1000 is not a factor again. And 100-130 is not normal. You will probably burn out soon.
