Are the Dash 8s really going to fly that much more than the 145?

Can anyone currently in 145 training or who has been through it, send me a PM? I have a few questions.

If you work at CA and have some inside scoop which aircraft would you recommend to someone starting class who has the choice and why? Seems that the 145 is a big unknown for now but if a new guy didn't take it if offered then it would be a long time living with regret if it turns out to be a better QOL.

The 145 hasn't done a revenue flight yet and the first new hire class started ground school this month. Also, I doubt that you'd be stricken with unfathomable loss if you chose the "wrong" type. You'd be stuck until you upgraded in a year. I think that is survivable.

What kind of FMS is in the CommutAir Dash's? Going to be the same on the ERJ?

The Dash's have the Universal FMS, and the 145 have Honewell.
