Don't go to any regional for any kind of flow or preferential interview. There is no way to measure the success of others vs. what your experience will be. Some people have what they are looking for, others don't. If you are that person, you will get hired regardless of where you are coming from. If you gonto CA, yunwill get the experience and TPIC time that any airline would want. Go for the place where your life will be the best if the call from United, or any other airline takes a while.

Unless you meet 121 PIC mins; then you could possibly upgrade in the ERJ a few months later. This next bid E145 CA could go to February hires.

There are seat locks if you're switching aircraft but staying in the same seat. I believe it's 18 months (Anyone else care to chime in?). But if you're upgrading then there is no seat lock. So for example if you're a dash FO that recently got hired there would be no seat lock that would prohibit upgrade into the ERJ, but there would be a seat lock if you were to try to bid jet FO right after getting hired into the dash. This is all to prevent excess training costs for the company.
