PHX to Dulles sucked, it made for some long flights, and there was only one flight a day. If you don't mind the long flights, California may be easier than Phx, depending on where you are. I imagine there are more flights out of LAX and SFO than Phoenix. I remember flying to LAX once or twice to get the red eye. Also don't forget about FedEx, which could be good on those long commutes.

My understanding is that Dash and E145 start the class together and splits up after Indoc. Anyone know the percentage of split? How many E145?

Training lot more difficult for Dash compared to E-145?

Just checked and see that there are roughly 10 direct flights between United/Virgin from SFO-IAD daily.

The Jan and Feb class are all Dash. Not sure when they will start putting people through 145 training.

24 is the number in the Jan class, no more, no less.

The number is 24, not 23, unless then proceeding to 24, 25 is right out.
Ha! Thanks. For some reason I don't think this guy is really "in class" because there are actually only 19 people in the Jan new hire.

Shameless recruiter maybe? Opportunistic line pilot looking to score referrel bonuses off people? Who knows.

Is there a seat lock on Dash? Say if a newhire gets Dash, what's the wait time before transferring to ERJ?

Thanks

PBS. You could probably get 2 weeks off across two months but not until you get a line and some seniority.

There is currently no contractual extra incentive to pick up open time trips. That's probably what is meant by no overtime pay, as we do get 150% for extensions. However plenty of people get 150 percent or better when scheduling is desperate

Not sure about the hotels, I'll let someone else get that one
