Your seniority # is company-wide, so you will not start at the bottom of the 145 necessarily. You will hold whatever seat/base your # can hold.

That's important. I'm not a youngster - 56 this spring. I have no intention of moving on to another airline once established here. So if the Dash goes away, then moving to the ERJ is fine with me if that is what happens. All good info and so much to learn.

Do you interview at both right away? Does United do the Hogan? So if your TBNT at United is that it, or is there another chance like direct application or is United just done. If you get an offer at United what does that mean? Can you still apply and go sooner or is it locked in? I don't know anything about the program.
Thanks

Of the guys going to United, how long have they been flying or they older guys lifers moving on or FOs?
Does anyone have an idea what United wants in these guys flowing? Is it to help with recruiting or movement ?

You ask too many questions. Seriously though, United wants cheap feed and to pick their candidates. A preferential interview does exactly this. The interview is very similar and if you get called by United earlier, you are not locked in.
Interview consists of:
1. Sucessful Interview CommutAir
2. Hogan
3. HR
Then you build your time to flow, if you are sucessful. If you fail this, you are not automatically disqualified from United. I believe you can reapply in 6 months.

This is impossible to predict with many factors. The program just started and the line pilots have not interviewed yet. (?) It also depends on how many hours you have to upgrade. Obviously, this is a fallback if you don't get called by United sooner for OTS hiring.

You might want to consider uberring to the Bull Pen. Spring Training is just around the corner.

Get that arm warned up.
