Do jeans fall under business casual for training? Like nice jeans and a nice polo, not acid wash cut-ups and and a Grateful Dead shirt.

Did you read the message they sent out? Yes, jeans with no holes and collared shirt are great!

Did they really say thats acceptable? Jeans typically aren't considered business casual

I went through in chinos and a few button downs. Friday's are typically more casual. If you dress up the jeans, you'll be fine but for the first couple of days maybe wear something more business casual.

I hear that showing up in uniform really impresses the instructors

I've seen guys show up to class in frayed jorts ( jean shorts ) and a Molly Hatchet shirt. You will be fine
