CommutAir Rumors and Info

Yes that's pretty dumb considering that plane is much faster then the 100's. I remember when we had the 200's and if we had one all day the first thing my Captain would say, "Guess we aren't making any extra money today." We loved the climb rate but hated the speed since we were paid by the minute. Most of our 100's won't even hit 210 KIAS unless you're decending. lol

Damn you guys got cheese on your burgers
Makes sense because on a 1 hour flight you can shave about 5 minutes off the flight time compared to a 100 series. What's the cruise Torque on that baby again? 114.6% I believe? I remember jumpseaters taping us on the shoulders and saying is that Torque right? lol
I don't think it will matter for long because I think both CommutAir and Piedmont will move slowly away from the Dash's and become all Jet fleets over the next 5 years. Good times for both Pilot groups.

I have but one question- does this agreement say how many United will interview/hire each month? Any language on withholding, anything like that at all? Do they have to take a certain amount? Is there even a certain amount per month/year they plan on taking?
