Very valid point. Your other point of some carriers multi-awarding reserve lines to as many as 80% of the pilots is also valid, and highlights the importance of good reserve contract language of limiting the number of pilots awarded the same line.

Lets just keep this thread to what its meant for, C5 growth/expansion. Good news is, the class sizes have increased and we are moving to the Houston training center next month. Also, United has started hiring and doing interviews for Aviate. There's plenty of good news here rather than squabble about it being better to have more people above or below you. As long as we are hiring, get in and you get both so get in sooner than later.

Edit: Den is happening in March so there's that as well.

Where does it say DEN is opening in March? The March upgrade and domicile awards are published with no DEN.

Have fun with that run!! Crossing the Palmer divide you get all sorts of beat up. Let’s face it, some passengers can’t keep all that chick-fil-a down on such a run!!

Plus side, it’s a very short flight. My personal best was 17 minutes wheels up to wheels down. I heard someone did it in 15 flat.
