Keep in mind that if you select "hot spots" at particular times of year, like the above southern destinations during winter, you are less likely to be able to get them when you're new but progression is quick so that won't be a problem for long.

Is this still accurate? Are there still plenty of 2-3 day trips? And if so, how hard is it to get them for a new hire?

Plenty of 4 days now but it’s the normal so a NU will get it

Trip length varies by base and by month. But if you're in the bottom 50% you can rest assured that PBS will ignore most of your bid preferences and give you whatever it has left.

Thank you for the information! And how long tend to be these trips that are “left”? 4 days?

Hi folks. Sorry to ask this here, but being new new the forums, I'm not yet able to start a new thread. Does anybody have suggestions for an IAD crash pad starting July 1st? Thank you.

1 or 2 days trip = two in July
3 D = 91 trips
4 D = 235
5 D = 41

A line holder should have around 14 days OFF a month.
