Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?
There was a guy who came into my flight school to rent a 172 a few weeks ago. I heard him talking about E145's and he told me he's a FO with CommutAir. We talked about it for a bit and he said how he's looking at 18 months before moving to UA through the CPP. I said to him how that's incredible and i wish I could do that, but I don't have a degree. He then said to me "I dont either!". I was confused, and said how on on CommutAir's website and when I spoke with a recruiter they told me you MUST have a 4 year degree prior to going to UA. He replied "They got rid of that. You just need to have your time to flow".
is this bs? it sounds like bs..

Does C5 operate any routes that do not touch either EWR or IAD, or is every leg going to begin or end in one of those two airports? Basically flowing from one of the two bases to a non-base UA hub over an outstation (e.g. EWR-ALB-ORD). Thanks!

Everything we fly currently touches one of our two bases. There has been talk about adding other hubs, but it would be a long time before that happens.

If you had to do things over again... would you choose Piedmont, PSA, or Envoy? Or would you stay clear of WO and go for Republic, or "fill in the blank airline". A lot of C5 complainers here, but how much is complaining vs actionable enough to choose somewhere else? Thanks.

Some others who are posting negative things on here did not have the opportune timing as others, and ended up having a bad time during the rapid parking of the dashes and a few downgrades. The climate is always changing, just try to make the best decision based on all available info at the time and play the game.
Given the current growth here, and the completion of all the transitions, there should be no more downgrades. While the “rapid upgrade” isn’t around right now, it will be sooner than later.
