If you’re in your mid 30’s or older with close to the upgrade requirements, C5 is looking pretty good right now. The upgrade times are about to drop to almost nothing again. Half our line check pilots will be gone by the fall.

Commutair’s unwritten requirement to be a LCA are only to get multiple recommendations from current LCAs and be off high mins. You get to check that box to get Delta to call and you will build to 1000 for the CPP faster as a LCA. Most of the guys who will be leaving are on 3rd year pay.

Someone in their 20’s, one of AA’s wholly owned is still looking better.

As a person in his mid 30s this is my thoughts exactly. I can leverage my previous 121 time for a fast upgrade and have a backup in the CPP if I can’t get interview elsewhere first.

And as we head into the busy summer months we have a grand total of 1 reserve FO in Newark about 8 reserve FO's in IAD for the month of June. This is gonna be brutal.

They have upgraded a few guys who are going to be CQF. Like last summer, they will be our only reserves.

The only question in my mind is 200% or hold out for 300%?

Meaning 200% pay for open time during summer? that's not bad at all!

You sweet summer child. I pick up extensively yet I don't do it for less than 200%. I'm looking forward to 300% and I feel that it's going to happen again this summer.

Should not some F.O.s currently in training come on line as the month progresses?
while not enough for proper reserve coverage that should help some.

That’s what seems to be the case. We had days this month where there were zero FOs on reserve for certain days at the beginning of the month but as some finished training they popped up on the list.
