Screwed is a perfect name for this guy, look at every one of his posts and you can see why he chose that moniker. I think another appropriate name would be doctor doom.
Don’t believe anything that comes out of his mouth, as it is usually negative and way off base.

Just an outsider looking in, but I have been contacted by Omni to send a resume, so I guess I have some tertiary skin in the game.
I think I understand fairly well the argument regarding Teamsters vs. ALPA, pattern bargaining, Atlas' representation in the Teamsters, possible decertification, etc etc. And interesting subjects they are, for sure. But what I maybe don't understand quite as well is what the holdups (MEC issues notwithstanding) are. I gather that no formal TA has been presented (because the Union leaders refuse to present it), but that selected bits have been released to the line pilots, and that at least some very vocal segment of them are hopping mad. Is there a list of what has been released anywhere? I gather that one sticking point is number of work days per month. The MEC is holding out for 16 guarantee, extendable to 17 or 18 at will but at premium pay, whereas many here would be willing to work 18 at guarantee at normal pay. Do I have that right? And I guess it sounds like domestic business class travel is also at issue...does that mean that international business class travel has already been agreed to? Finally, I hear numbers like "80% pay raise"...are the proposed pay rates published anywhere?
Thanks.

Well said Dutch80, well said!
Questions that should be answered directly:
1. Is “Atlas” the president of 1224? And is Atlas involved in their own negotiations? Are Atlas negotiations going well? How long will it take Atlas to get their contract?
2. Does “Atlas” attend Omni negotiations?
3. Does “Atlas” vote on the “eboard” either allowing or preventing Omni pilots from voting on any agreement?
4. Does “Atlas” have any role in deciding what is classified as a TA in the first place?
5. Are “Atlas” and 1224 engaged in “pattern bargaining” in the context of Omni negotiations?
6. Are “Atlas” and 1224 deciding what “industry standard” is based on what Atlas wants?
7. Is starting negotiations for a new contract 18 months after a new contract is signed the new 1224 “industry standard?” Is Atlas asking for this in their negotiations?
8. Did “Atlas” sign off on and say “Ok to 16 days off plus premium pay on 17/18” if negotiations began again in 18 months(paraphrasing)?
9. If so, is it appropriate for “Atlas” to set conditions?
10. Is 16 days off plus premium pay for day 17 and 18 indeed acceptable to Omni pilots?
11. Have Omni pilots been asked collectively what they would accept regarding days of service?
12. “Atlas” has been described as saying “I will not allow Omni pilots to vote on something like this because they will vote yes”. Is this or some similar variation true?
13. If 12 is true do Omni pilots think this is appropriate?
14. Did JC advise the NC team at the beginning of the last session that he needed to leave on a particular day and time?
15. Do Omni pilots think putting domestic business class travel on the table at the last minute a reasonable request thats helpful in completing a TA?
16. Did JC in fact leave when he initially said he had to?
17. Is it truthful and helpful to omni pilots in describing JC as “walking away from the table” if in fact he left when he said he needed to at the beginning?
18. Is the contractual language document in possession of the 1224 negotiation team full of holes?
19. What are those holes?
One side is lying. Which is it?

Omni won't survive the next economic downturn!
And Kalitta won't survive when Connie passes away. His heirs will demand the money

Maximum Duty Days: Read Carefully
An excerpt from the company proposed language about days over 16. It’s not as simple as days 17/18 being paid out extra.
The Company shall construct bid lines to contain a maximum of 16 Duty Days and 2 Override Days. An Override Day is a Duty Day scheduled in the Crewmember’s Home Base during which the Crewmember is free from all duty or performs Long Call Reserve. The Company shall designate the Crewmember’s Override Days on the Bid line, but may move those days to any days on the Bid Line where the Crewmember is free from all duty or performed Long Call Reserve at his Home Base. The Crewmember will be paid the daily rate (3.56 hours) above guarantee for each required Override Day not received. Work performed on Override Days will be counted toward guarantee.

Now that the NLB has been contacted and following on the shirt tails of Kalitta with their generous lead of how they handled DW and the 1224, he will be left to use something else as a negotiation pawn for Atlas.
And once the 1224 loses two major due paying airlines after the two decertification are complete maybe the stooges above DW will send him packing.
