In the long run none of this matters....in the next economic downturn Omni won't be able to survive.

Omni will join World, North American, Evergreen and all the rest that went bankrupt

My prediction......Within 5 years Omni will be gone and K4 will be sold by Connie's family after he passes. How old is he now?

Ha! He probably works for Atlas and obviously is drinking the 1224 kool aid that “Atlas” is srving him. Typical of millenials!

Considering you don't even have the slightest clue of K4s well known succesion plan (DK) I have very little faith in your predictions.

Little Dougie is no Connie. He isn't half the man Connie is.

I stand by my prediction.

Can anyone speaking another language provide appropriate characterization of this? English can’t.
What have we got in return?
My paycheck hasn’t changed.
Now I am 100% for what has been offered by the company. But till I see that in a thoroughly vetted TA it’s all fairytales to me.

I hate how much money we are losing each month. Here’s hoping both groups get back to the table ASAP.

You and I both. And many others.
Unfortunately for all of us, 1224 steadfastly refuses to allow any further progress until THEIR objectives and desires are met. Never mind what would be best for the OMNI pilots.

That is the proverbial elephant in the room. The one the union shamelessly and continually ignores because they can’t provide an honest or intelligent explanation for. Not one that suits their needs anyway. When call on it, they resort to personal insults and tired buzzwords like social inequality and industry standard.

In the meantime, the Omni pilots continue to be disenfranchised . The company is fine. Screwed predictions not withstanding, OAI is thriving. Thank you.
The union bosses, (1224), they are doing great as well. Wrapped in their self serving, quasi Marxists ways.

The Omni pilots ? We are getting hosed. By OAI a little, by 1224 a lot.

As someone previously said, enjoy the Atlas (DW) ride.

Well said Dutch80, well said!

Questions that should be answered directly:

1. Is “Atlas” the president of 1224? And is Atlas involved in their own negotiations? Are Atlas negotiations going well? How long will it take Atlas to get their contract?

2. Does “Atlas” attend Omni negotiations?

3. Does “Atlas” vote on the “eboard” either allowing or preventing Omni pilots from voting on any agreement?

4. Does “Atlas” have any role in deciding what is classified as a TA in the first place?

5. Are “Atlas” and 1224 engaged in “pattern bargaining” in the context of Omni negotiations?

6. Are “Atlas” and 1224 deciding what “industry standard” is based on what Atlas wants?

7. Is starting negotiations for a new contract 18 months after a new contract is signed the new 1224 “industry standard?” Is Atlas asking for this in their negotiations?

8. Did “Atlas” sign off on and say “Ok to 16 days off plus premium pay on 17/18” if negotiations began again in 18 months(paraphrasing)?

9. If so, is it appropriate for “Atlas” to set conditions?

10. Is 16 days off plus premium pay for day 17 and 18 indeed acceptable to Omni pilots?

11. Have Omni pilots been asked collectively what they would accept regarding days of service?

12. “Atlas” has been described as saying “I will not allow Omni pilots to vote on something like this because they will vote yes”. Is this or some similar variation true?

13. If 12 is true do Omni pilots think this is appropriate?

14. Did JC advise the NC team at the beginning of the last session that he needed to leave on a particular day and time?

15. Do Omni pilots think putting domestic business class travel on the table at the last minute a reasonable request thats helpful in completing a TA?

16. Did JC in fact leave when he initially said he had to?

17. Is it truthful and helpful to omni pilots in describing JC as “walking away from the table” if in fact he left when he said he needed to at the beginning?

18. Is the contractual language document in possession of the 1224 negotiation team full of holes?

19. What are those holes?

One side is lying. Which is it?
