Just for the record, I am a line pilot.
Everyone trust Jonny.....he got the inside scoop. I guess that’s it then.
Enjoy the “Atlas” ride people. We are getting totally screwed up one side and down the other.
I can’t wait to flush teamsters and the 1224.

By the way, excellent job on the 35 total posts you have with this screen name with all the posts being on this thread. I know I am convinced.

Boy. Nice slam. Calling me a coward.
I have walked the line for three different airlines. I have volunteered for union committees, I have supported other airline pilots who were on strike walking picket lines with them.
I want nothing more than for OMNI, Kalitta, ABX and yes, Atlas to have great contracts as soon as possible. I feel that the best way to do that is to stick together and fight FOR each other - not with each other. That is ALL that I have promoted for all 1224 carriers.
I would have thought that a pilot with as many years as you have in the industry (not to mention military duty) would understand the concept of working together as a team.
Instead, you choose to try to belittle me and my fellow Atlas pilots as the enemy. When your guns should be aimed at your company management, they are aimed at us.
I have supported my fellow union pilots at both ALPA and Teamster airlines for 30 years and will continue to support the union pilots at OMNI no matter what.
Because THAT is how we can all succeed in negotiations.

You can make all the soap box lectures that you want about supporting other pilots, but the fact is you're not supporting the Omni pilots.
They (we) have made it clear that we would like to see a contract based on the proposals already on the table;
that is what the majority of this pilot group wants.
Advocating that other pilots miss out on tens of thousands of $ in an effort to achieve contract goals that were not even on our wish list because our national union is looking out for the interests of another carrier (the one that you work for, ergo your personal gain) all under the guise supporting us is in deed deceitful and cowardice.
But maybe you're neither of those things.
Maybe you are so entrenched in your pro-union belief that you've lost your ability to respect the wishes of others.
We are just is capable of making a decision about what is best for our future as you are.
Your continued mantra of our pilot group not knowing their worth or settling or being duped by management tactics
is tiresome and insulting.
If you and your fellow atlas pilot want to hold out for the moon and the stars, God speed!
I, and I assume the majority of our pilot group will not spend hours on the atlas board chastising you or advising you on the proper course of action.
Please extend us that same courtesy.

or any other new screen name you decide to create?
Isn't there anything else better to do in Tulsa other than running an airline into the ground?

But you're right, you know better. I mean I only work here and have personally spoke with over 50 of our pilots- who overwhelming support that position.

Whether there are individuals from Tulsa trying to stoke the fires here or not is not out of the question, I personally have some suspicions. But it really doesn't change the sentiment I've seen from a LOT of guys of wanting this proposal TA'd with strong language or at least made public for us to see the holes we're being told are there but noone can so much as speculate on.

That is it? What, nobody else? All it takes is logging out and then logging back in with a different username and password.
Wait, that's right, the business day hasn't started in Tulsa yet.

I had dinner in HNL with some OMNI guys I met there. This has been my only exposure to them other than the influx of ones now working at K4. They all seem to agree with the OMNI posters on here, regarding the TA.
If the posters on here are management as you write, they seem to be on the same page as the Pilots.
That would make what they are accusing 1224 of doing even worse. If 1224 mgt. has an issue with the TA why are they not showing it to the Pilots and telling them what the objection is. Oh wait, that’s because that was the strategy used at K4. The K4 Negotiators went up the chain at the Teamsters and were rejected. They then went with the company to NLB and through legal means obtained the right to vote on the TA.
However, if you don’t know what 1224 is objecting to then you would not be able to fix it or appeal it.
