The union could simply show the parts with all the holes and say: “see? Right here-bad”.

Just applying logic, reason and common sense: the holes don’t exist.

The company has at least revealed the big picture items. If there were gaping holes I don’t think they would do this.

One side is lying......we will find out which.....sooner or later. If its the company any trust will be flushed. If its the union it needs to be flushed.

We will find out.

Really? I mean I've got the one side saying the other never said something. And I have the other on record having said it months ago. And we're not talking about contract language we're talking about scheduling a meeting.

If things go bad walk away and give us the bullet points. Or is that too much to ask of my elected representatives who seem to have more time and money to run ads and make billboards rather than participate in a meeting?

Because we all know a document exist. Let’s see it.
I know yall are a small airline. I guess my first question is why are there elected representatives that you don't trust? Didn't yall just have an election? I'm not trying to troll but I may not have all the information. I know that even at Atlas, I can call anyone on our EXCO and they'll give me an answer. It strikes me as strange that at an airline of that size everyone isn't like a best buddy...

Globe,

Unfortunately what you see here is a very small minority constantly posting, some which have multiple usernames. The very few that do post here don’t represent the entire 240 pilot group (that includes the FE’s still on the list). Dutch is a newer hire which we are fortunate to have on property but either has not been screwed by the current contract or is living under the bubble of Sentinel. Our elected negotiators are selfless yet smart individuals. One is borderline genius and his absence would be a blow to the entire negotiation efforts.

Some of those touting "let’s see language" are the same ones that wanted to see a TA when the company offered a 30% pay raise with everything current book value. Over the past 2 years things have drastically changed since the first of now 9 take it or leave it offers. However, just because things have drastically improved doesn’t mean there aren’t grey areas as wide as the Grand Canyon. With regard to negotiators answering questions, personally I’ve never had a negotiator not answer my question without breaking an NDA.

SS, gave a speech on the state of negotiations to a group of us a year ago and was forthcoming on where the union stood and the company. Recently, I spoke with another negotiating team member during a serious of flights and he was forthcoming with a very small number of issues holding back a TA and the companies wording on certain issues such as "Direct Domestic Travel". I’m not discrediting any of my colleagues above but most of the post are emotionally charged. I’ve been ALPA and Teamsters; as "Heavydriver" mentioned same tactics different companies.

JetBlue, Frontier, and Spirit are all in the same boat as Omni pilots but what is different is the solidarity shown by those groups vs ours. Thus to answer your question, take these forums with a truck load of salt and when an agreement that represents the best efforts possible by the Negotiations Committee there will be a TA.

Also, most of the "show me the TA now crew" had the ability to volunteer for the NC but didn’t. Again... take the opinions with a grain of salt.

Well 450 that’s quite a mouthful, but it misses the point.

First why get personal ?
Durch’s seniority and weather he flies the sentinel is completely irrelevant. Much like the size of the airline has nothing to do with anything.

Jet Blue, Spirit....really ? In case you missed it, this is about Omni.

And the IQ of one our negotiators or weather he is a genius,is not one of our concerns.

A few post before someone was talking about submarines, now you’re talking about the Grand Canyon. I guess I’ll bring up Fred Astaire, because you’re tap dancing around the issue.

So back on point. This is about Omni and the Omni pilots. No one is implying that the company offer is legitimate. All we are asking for is to see It.
Why is that a big mystery ? Why is the union preventing the pilots from seeing it ?
Maybe because they’re afraid the pilots willl vote for it ?
Surely not. You yourself said “only a few posters using “multiple screen names” blah blah...
If it is just a “wish list from the company” why can we see concrete refuting points from the union ?
Notice I didn’t say we want to vote for it or against. Just want to see it.
You stil with me buddy?

And the billboard ? Really ? When do we get to act like professional pilots who “ deserve” professional wages?

I could go on but...
Respectfully

I believe the Mediator asked that the body of negotiations not be leaked to the group until a TA was agreed by both sides. This would keep with the integrity of the negotiating process.

So far BOTH sides have acted unprofessional during this negotiation period.

Let's face it. Omni as a company is a flying circus and it's pilots are the clowns, but the show must go on.

With your excellent post, my faith is restored in the Omni pilot group...thank you. After following this thread for a while, I was getting a little worried. Now I understand that I am just reading the opinions of the vocal minority...thank God!

Here is the media attention OMNI drew when they wouldn't believe a Captain, who gave 30 hours notice that a hotel that didn't have power or water was sub standard. Entire crew, including FA's called in fatigued. The issues here are deeper than bullet points on a post it note.

I hate to see this because bottom line it hurts us as pilots and a company. Changes need to happen, and fast.
