The fact that some pilots will be feeling "disrespected" while passing go and collecting upwards of 100k a year.

Maybe I missed something but why don't you guys ask for retro pay? Seems many unions are getting this now. That would stop everyone from saying you're loosing money by not having a contract.

We can always ask, of course the company would have to agree to it. Right now they won't even agree to come back to table and negotiate anything with the Union.

I encourage everyone to go listen to the Union's conference call.

If you pay close attention you will realize that the company hasn't really offered anything since July. You will also hear Spencer say in a round about way that they are not even asking for anything more, just how it is "packaged".

Now, take your pay with the new scale, multiply it by 71 (because you have been working 18 days) then multiply it by 4 months.

That is the amount you have paid so the Union can "repackage" our compensation but not ask for more.

They dirty little secret is that they can't ask for more because they have no bargaining power.

If you do the math, you will see the light. This needs to be stopped.

Let me add another thought.

Imagine that you own Omni.

You figure out that you are saving 50,000 per day and there are little to no consequences.

At what point do you call "uncle" and cave in to the Union's demands?

I know what I would do. I believe in capitalism.

Frank. That's not entirely accurate. The company offer has improved significantly since July (when the website first came out).

A little birdie from within a 1224 negotiation committee told me this isn't anywhere close to passing. I was hoping it would be close to at least being put up for a vote. Could it pass in 2018? 2020?

And Hillary had a 98% chance of winning.

That made laugh out loud!

My point is that he is on a 1224 committee (not Omni) and I don't know why he would give that information. Seems to me that Omni would be really close to passing this TA.

Seems that moving into a TA is imminent to everyone at Omni. If we close out the healthcare issue (I hear the others have been closed out or are close to it) there would be no reason for us not getting a vote.
