For the second year in a row, on Valentine’s Day Delta expressed their gratitude and love for their employees by giving every eligible employee a check that totals more than 10 percent of their annual salary in order to ensure their safety and comfort every day through their Emergency Savings Program. "At Delta, our No. 1 job is taking care of our people -- our success flows from this simple concept," writes CEO Ed Bastian.

You may have missed his point.
Perhaps something about how other airlines give a **** about their employees, but some don't, perhaps?
Perhaps those who perceive that lack of give-a-**** show their perception, with a strike vote?
Perhaps if some airlines gave a ****, such a demonstration of perception might not be necessary.
Do you see it now?

Based on the ATSG 4th quarter earnings call in today, Joey Hete has no real plan for growth. Only cost cutting as a control for poor management decisions. I also hear another senior Checkairman and a retired pilot instructor have left the training department, and 4 B-777 Captains are leaving in March with NO upgrade bids being posted. A slow "death do us part" vow for those who stay, and "you were warned" to those that come into this relationship.
