even United’s CEO was quoted as saying the Delta TA raises the bar everywhere. We aren’t going to retain or attract good candidates without remaining competitive.

I agree. With the market tight, without near matching, LCC and others will continue to bleed pilots. This at a faster rate. That is rarely survivable.

Default airlines miles

I know this isn’t the right place for this but anyway, im
accumulating American and Alaska miles no problem. However both United and Delta show me at 0 miles and I’ve been on each multiple times.
Trying to use their “help desk” online is futile… any other ideas on how to get the miles I’ve earned?!

Usually when an airline doesn't credit the trip, the frequent flyer number didn't get added to the flight. If you have the dates, you can go to the mileage program and enter them online; once approved, they should show up on your account.

make sure all your frequent flyer data is loaded correctly into the company’s website too.
Somewhere in your new hire stuff should have been instructions how to log into that website and add your stuff in.

Default Jan 4 Class

Hi. Scheduled for the Jan 4 class date. Has anyone in this class heard from the training department or gotten access to the net yet? Hoping to get those CBTs done soon.

I remember the suspense killing me too, I believe it took me almost three weeks to get a call back to select an airframe and class date. Hang in there!

Justin Guyer - Memorial

Omni lost a good one. Justin only flew the line for a few years before a previously undetected heart condition took him out of flying and took his life a few years later. A great dude who always had a smile on his face and took care of his crews during his many years as a Mesa Captain.

He was proud of his time flying the 767 for Omni, and had been hoping that someday he could return from medical and get back into an Omni cockpit doing what he loved. RIP brother.

Default Travel to Training?

Does Omni buy you a ticket to training or do you have to get yourself there? Thanks
