Oh well then, maybe something will come out in the earnings call. Seems like the die-hards can't handle a bit of reality (or even consider some of the things being said around the rumor mill - and instead just stonewall) for whatever reason? Let me guess, most of you guys are lifers and the rest are getting out? Peace, seems like you deserve each other.
Omni has earned its reputation. It has a business model which doesn't necessarily need constant expansion to fill the fishbowl. It has satisfied clients.
It's also not a freight operator. Apparently you didn't know that.
What exactly is your beef here? Looking for a job? You're certainly going about it the wrong way, if you are.
Some other vested interest, or just wake up this morning and decide this is your day to be stupid?
If you're going to run your mouth, educate yourself first. You'll at least appear a little less an idiot. So far, it isn't working for you.
You're best placed on the ignore list.

How do you suppose Omni is not the same airline it was 3 years ago? Certainly, the management team has changed. Financials have changed, but the day to day operation remains largely the same. What specifically are you referring to?

Far be it from me to question your Lordship's infinite wisdom, but Occam's Razor seems to apply to my little peasant brain. They bought a company which was extremely profitable and efficient doing what it was already doing, and decided to leave it alone. Seems like wisdom, from where I sit. We're not going to stop moving troops around the globe anytime soon, and Omni does that really well. The contracts get signed every time, but maybe the DOD should bring in some random dude from the internet to tighten things up?

How can you say things remain largely the same? With Afghanistan gone, you lost a huge CIA contract. Or did that contract go to some other destination?

Who's asking? I mean I know the whole "Secret Clearance" thing is sorta laughable, at least as regarded the A-Stan flying, but there's a reason they don't publish or publicize their other DoD flying. You may have to content yourself with not knowing.

CIA contract? We do not now nor have we ever had a contract with the CIA. Not sure where that nonsense comes from. You stated, Omni has changed significantly. The business model at Omni remains the same. Our day to day operations remain the same. Certainly COVID has had an impact, but that is temporary. The ATSG earnings call happened today. Most profitable quarter on record. Contracts come and go, that is the nature of ACMIs, but there are few ACMI companies that do what we do and there is no company that has the worldwide reach that we do granted by our Ops Specs.

GI-Bill is the best way to go, I used the GI-Bill as well at a different school. With previous college credits, I knocked out my flight training an remaining degree requirements in 2 1/2 years and took a additional semester for a internship for a Major airline, looking to cash in on my connections in 2022 to move on.
