Omni Air

Haven't even started yet honestly. This TDY set me back, but I have learned I can get basically all training for free with the post 9/11 GI Bill through Liberty and a degree to boot. I know it’s not the fastest way or the recommended way if paying out of pocket, but getting all ratings for basically 0 dollars is huge for me. On top of that I have all the required classes needed for the degree outside of the aviation portion, so hopefully that will knock some time off the projected finish time they have on their site.

Well I assume you'll be calling me a troll, but from what I've gathered through "non-forum" means............................................. ....... while other airlines ............ have grown nearly on a y=x^2 curve, with their customer base being much more diversified than ATSGs (at least at first glance).

You're describing Kalitta before the current contract - they grew, partially to support the newly added expenditures related to the workforce. Omni chose not to - and theoretically may not be in a position to generate the revenue needed to remain competitive on pilot compensation, while simultaneously having too much of an outlay compared to the actual bottom feeders. One thing that is obvious is that you're a snowflake who thinks that Omni is the greatest thing since sliced bread and don't like critical questions being asked. Apparent since you totally ignored the other items I had identified as having come thru the grapevine.

Insofar as I can tell it seems that Omni is on a similar trajectory to National's (as far as fleet count and market engagement) rather than the trajectory of others like Atlas* and Kalitta - which would indicate stagnant wages and flying, though no risk of anything like BK or liquidation (unless ATSG goes full Lorenzo, which I wouldn't put past them).
*I'm not sure how Atlas pay compares to current Omni pay since their new contract doesn't seem to have been updated to APC, but I imagine it's at least on par - to wit, is there any apparent indication that ATSG may be planning similar legal maneuvers to Atlas' against their union?

Oh well then, maybe something will come out in the earnings call. Seems like the die-hards can't handle a bit of reality (or even consider some of the things being said around the rumor mill - and instead just stonewall) for whatever reason? Let me guess, most of you guys are lifers and the rest are getting out? Peace, seems like you deserve each other.

How it compares to Atlas is obvious if you read the Atlas arbitration award. You obviously haven’t.
You’re so far off from reality that it’s pointless to even try to educate you. Either go do some real research on publicly available information, or go bother somebody else.
your posts are just trolling.
