Hahahaha.... been there and done that on more types than most (including the side saddle). Knowing how a flux capacitor works is irrelevant if you don't know how to use it. Stop overccomplicating our job of OPERATING, we aren't here to build these things.

You people really need to get off your high horses.

Ignorant stance for someone who’s a$$ is strapped to a non ejection seat high above the earth between stalling speed and Overspeed.

Automation has contributed to the decline of airmanship, and for that lack of airmanship, more automation was created. A recent study done by the FAA/NASA revealed how much pilots don’t know about their own airplane. Out of 100 pilots evaluated it was a failing percentage that could manage flying and system malfunctions safely. It was frightening.

Almost no words to how far you had to stretch to try to distort the point I was making... of course manual flying is of high importance in operating a jet. Are you missing the point that you don't need to know how motive flow or override pumps work... so long as you understand how to use it?

Climb down from those pedestals you've put yourselves on... when you degenerate life or aviation into a ^#(^ measuring contest you are setting yourself up for a huge systemic failure.

There’s been a dumbing down of things on a national level. Actually, a global level. The rise of mediocrity to avoid hurting people’s feelings and to create an inclusive society has trickled into aviation.

Do you mean “Motor” flow pumps? Or you going to blame spell check for your lack of simple system knowledge?

The only point you make is your ignorance on the subject and to why it is important.

I’m too old to be hurt by words. Just call me ignorant for not knowing what a “Motive” flow pump is. please tell me in detail what it is and how it works, because that’s my generation.
