A question if a civilian crew stays on a military base is a security concern?? My current company lands at a few bases but we don't stay on base we stay at a nearby hotel. I don't suppose the Marriott is sitting next to the airport in Kandahar.

Really trying to make up my mind on joining. First and even second year pay are still not a gain coming from a regional Capt spot. The heavy time and seeing the world are really what I would love. Just worried about the home life with being gone for that long at a time.
