The only class that has run this year for new hires this year was a 1/25 DC-10 class..... Rumor was the next class would be for the Boeing, but I've heard nothing firm.

Anyone out there have any next class intel?

I interviewed with these people last year. Unfortunately I was not selected but they are very nice people. I have several friends there and they like it. Good Luck, L

+1. Credit Omni also for hiring folks out of currency. The notion that you cant fly an airplane because you have not flown one in a year or two is complete bs. Not being "competitive" at Eagle but good enough for a 757 at Omni is just laughable. Good luck to those at Omni and hats off to their HR/Flight dept!

Yeah, I was really rolling in the dough taking home $600 and change every two weeks when I was a first-year RJ FO at a "top tier" regional.

Pot, meet kettle.

How many countries in Europe or Asia have you flown to in your RJ?

I'm hoping this is the case as I haven't touched an airliner in years, however current in other types. Are there many regionals that start you off at $51/hr?

Give it a shot Clipperskipper. I know of a few pilots hired there that spent 8 - 10 years as a SO at their previous airline and got a 757 or DC10 window seat.

Yeah, you're right. Because the regionals really top the pay scales. As for being picky, Why did Eagle lower their minimums?
