maybe he just wanted to know what people's thoughts on it were, and not told he had a "fundamental misunderstanding." I as well would be curious is there's any chance of growth at Omni, as opposed to other ACMI carriers.

Omni is trying to start an A321/320 cargo & pax operation. They say the first hull will be flying early next year.
they did want to expand into 777 cargo a few years ago, but interest in that seems to have waned.
I think their strategic longer term plan is A320/321 narrow body cargo/pax, and A330 for DoD...(possibly early 787's instead, but all bus makes more sense)
