Or do they have a solid footing in their niche of a market?

Fair to say that Omni has changed, and very significantly, for the worst.
Most everyone I speak with has their apps out. As do I. And I only have 11 years left.

Reading further in the 10-Q:
Total revenues from ACMI Services decreased $10.3 million compared to 2023 for the three month period ended March 31, 2024 to $323.8 million. During the three month period ended March 31, 2024, block hours flown for our customers' delivery networks decreased 3% compared to the corresponding period in 2023 reflecting to the removal of certain Boeing 767-200 aircraft and fewer international flights. Block hours for passenger services during the three month period ended March 31, 2024, including operation of Boeing 757 combi aircraft, were flat compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
The war in Israel and conflicts in other parts of the world may also impact our operations, reducing the number of flights that we operate for the DoD and other customers.

Currency / Recency
Good day all - long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm considering Omni, Atlas, ATI, Envoy and Republic. Timing is not great.
I know currency/receny is going to be a limiting factor, but how much time elapsed would be 'too long' since my last flight. I have a small war chest of cash to go rent a twin and build some civ time, so planning to mitigate any rustiness that way. Sitting at just over 2,000 hours, all turbine time, about 600 PIC. I'll have about 150 hours turbine time in the previous year as of now.
Mainly considering Omni, Atlas, etc for the heavy turbine time. The schedules are different between cargo and regional, but that is fine and fits the dynamic at home. Ultimately would like to be in the DFW/IAH areas to settle.
Thanks!

Go to a regional with a flow. The regional will spoon feed you in training. Not so much at an ACMI carrier. Plus pay and benifits are better at a regional than at ATI or Omni.
