Dude, I can appreciate your frustration. But we're talking about UPS. They are so conscious of EEOC issues that they go to extraordinary links to hire from all backgrounds. We probably hired more civilians than mil trained. We hire corporate, fractional, regional, furloghed, and mil. The conspiracy theorists say they do this in order to have frationalized groups in the union. Maybe so maybe not, but our newhire classes are very different from FDX's.

Based on previous posts here, I believe people have been called to interview as soon as an hour after completing the online process up to about two weeks after. Does anyone know if anyone has actually been rejected after taking the test?

L'il J.Seinfeld We probably hired more civilians than mil trained.
Not unlike FedEx or any other major when they were hiring.
The factrional, regional, and furloughed people that you brought up could very well be ex-military. Just because they didn't come here straight from the military, we can not not count them as military.

I was able to get in and update my 2007 app a couple of days ago and yesterday I got the email to complete the online assessments. I took the assessments today and am waiting to hear. My app now shows "On File" versus "Active" and I can't get into it anymore.
I was kind of surprised to hear something so soon because I'm not available until November.

Took the assesment and after completing it I got the message:
"Thank you for completing this assessment process and we look forward to speaking with you soon. Recruiters routinely review assessment results and you will be contacted directly. Thank You for your continued interest in UPS."
My application went from "Active" to "On File" and requires no attention at this time apparently.
