NAC will be a long time coming before they are able to take over all the SAS flying and if/when that happens they don’t get our airplanes.
As for the statement that we are a shrinking airline, we have only lost 2 airplanes that we were flying both owned by DHL and were transferred to the sandbox under DHL operations.

Still negotiating for a CBA after 3+ years with no dates scheduled in the future. I know what I would do....

I didn't mean that NAC would get the airplanes, only that we would lose 2-3 airplanes worth of work. Its not like anyone at ABX is out there looking for new work for us. We do not have a sales department. ATI has been getting all the new work coming in the door.
WHEN we lose the NAC work (this summer), Hete will be more than happy for find someone to take over the leases on those airplanes. There will be downgrades due to this. There aren't enough retirees in pipeline to compensate for the loss of that amount of work.
Plus, IF we don't renew all of the DHL contracts this fall, there will be furloughs as well.
This is not the place anyone should come to. There is no future here.

We were supposed to have 10 Amazon planes, brother. There has not been a captain upgrade in over a year. I'm not sure what you are trying to defend or why, but ABX is not doing well in a rapidly expanding industry and we just got kicked in the sack by our 'sister' airline.

I’m not trying to defend anything, just hear continuously that ABX is a shrinking airline and I don’t agree with that. What we were supposed to get and what we do receive is always a toss up and the strike upset that cart. I still have hopes that we will again continue to grow. If I felt otherwise I sure as hell wouldn’t be here.
What do you call it when you start out with a higher number of pilots and end with less or when you start with a certain number of planes and end with less? If that's not shrinking then I don't know what is...
