Practice your raw data hand flying skills. DC-9 steam gauge simulator. You will hand fly a raw data ILS to mins. No A/P, no F/D. Good luck followers of the magenta line.

Most people who haven't flown th DC-9 are better off without the A/P and F/D anyway.

That's gonna be a trip. They told me that I "may" fly the sim. I'll assume that if I don't get to fly it, that I probably tanked the panel interview.

Any insight into the panel portion?

Possibility you'll fly the 767 sim. They'll turn off the flight directors and AP. What LAX said is accurate. If you don't do the sim in the same day you probably need to look elsewhere....

No idea on the panel. When I got hired years ago it was a chief pilot and a HR person.

The Douglas Company 8 sim is available ��. Hand flown 2 engine Cat 2 oughta separate the wheat from the chaff.

Both engines out on the same side, if it's like the 747 it will be a handful : )
