As someone else said, new hires are getting lines. Not sure if this will hold up once summer vacations start to dwindle though.

You are gone almost every single day and then some on reserve. Sometimes you get a Saturday off in CVG.

We are so short that our VP of Flight Ops got assigned to sit hot reserve at the airport last week.

For September, if no one had vacation or training, 1 new hire from the May class would hold a line in Sept. with the added flying. Now because of training and vacations, a good portion of us will hold a Sept. hard line for the second time since coming on line.

For JetRage,

I've been speaking to guys here that have never held a line in 20 years that are finally getting them. It will be incredibly hard to tell what the future will look like here. It really is a crap shoot. A 50/50 shot that this will either stay stutus quo or morph into something great. If you have the ability to roll the dice, roll em. But the earlier, the better.

I've already moved up 12 spots and with the additional flying expected, that movement will continue. Continue to what point is the 50/50 and when you get on will matter.

Good Luck!

Well if thats the case and Im gonna be flying that much I see no reason to lug my kayak all the way to Florence, KY. To be sure, having a line within a few months sounds terrific. Now I just have to decide between this offer and Atlas. In this industry, doing a coin toss might not be the worst idea.

More than welcome at ABX as long as you don't whine and ***** about flying a lot.

Well the schedule sounds like no joke. But my rule is, if anyone hears me complain, I buy first round.

Out of curiosity,
How long are the TPA layover? If any. I always see one departure around 0645-0700
