To my understanding ATI gave all the laid off ABX guys jobs. If we start hitting the street I cant see why we dont go to abx. Flows both ways. Dont care if If we make half as much as ABX its better than nothing until we find work.
Flow goes both ways! Should also be given preference to new hires being an atsg employee. Another new hire claimed upper management already mentioned this.

I'm not advocating for the ATI folks to capitulate to the ABX folks, far from it. What I am saying is for them to find leadership that will work with the ABX leadership and project their interests so the two groups can work together for the betterment of both groups when dealing with a corporate structure that does not value either group.

My only concern at the moment is that my wife is pregnant with a due date of Jan 1st (probably earlier since it's not our first). How is scheduling with fmla requests? I don't plan on taking a bunch of time, but it is important to the wife. I ain't afraid of a lil hard work.
I want to caution you, though, because you have to meet certain requirements (https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/whdfs28j.pdf) before you qualify for FMLA. Based upon my reading of this, neither you nor I will qualify for FMLA by the time our children are due.

My wife is also pregnant, with our son due on 12/26. I spoke to the CP before I accepted the position and he was very understanding. He said we would work around it.
