October ABX class

I'm looking to connect with anyone scheduled for the October class. The Cherrybend pheasant farm said they had no availability for October or November but I have found an extended stay hotel in Dayton (Value Inn) which works out to about $30/day with a full kitchen. I'm open to more local options but I haven't found very much in Wilmington that was reasonable or had a kitchen other than Cherryend.

That is a REALLY long drive each day.

I agree...any idea where else people stay other than the farm? Will I at least be going against traffic coming from Dayton?

Trust me. The farm is fine and it's close. You will get tired of the drive.

Nope, you'll be fighting traffic in the morning in some very heavy construction zones. That's close to an hour drive with no traffic.

Maybe call the Creekwood motel in Waynesville and see if they could give you a monthly rate. That's about a 25 minute drive. They probably don't have any with kitchen facilities though if your looking to save on food. Very few dining options in Waynesville also.

The lodging situation isn't looking great. I am inquiring about a few furnished apartments about 25 miles away in Beavercreek and Springboro. A three bedroom setup can be had between $850-$1100. Anyone in the Sept class that would like to pursue this option....let me know.

I start in August maybe I would like to be there for a month. Maybe as of this point I'm really unsure how long will take us to finish the whole ground sim portion.
