This is correct. Also ABX scheduling has floated an additional crew base at LAX to the union. I doubt we'll ever have a SEA base.

Although, if Amazon/ATSG were to acquire 777's and 747's for international flights, I can see west coast bases for flights to Asia.

Will ATSG/Amazon be bigger than UPS and Fed Ex?

This reminds me of someone in the 1970's who may have accepted employment with TWA or Pan Am while not paying much attention to that little 737 operator known as Southwest Airlines. If I understand the article correctly, it sounds as if Amazon will very soon be the big logistics company on the block and could very well put UPS and/or Fed Ex out of business. Stranger things have happened.
Not only no, but HE77 NO!

You would be a fool to turn down FedEx (or even UPS). ATSG has a loooong way to go to equal the compensation package and work rules that FedEd offers. Although the airline industry is a volatile one, the global courier delivery airlines are much less susceptible to the economic upheavals that wiped out those legacy carriers and FedEx dominates the field. It would be foolish to stake your career on ATSG/Amazon.

CVG and MIA. All present and future ILN flying will be done from the CVG domicile

Sweet! I already went out and bought a new boat right after the announcement. Headed out with a Realtor this afternoon to look at some Captain houses!
