DH question

I,m deadheading out of MEM on Monday. This is my first DH since liquids are limited. If I'm in uniform, do the TSA restrictions apply? Any other tips to avoid TSA hassels?

If you're in uniform, no problems with liquids in your bag...
otherwise, must do the 3oz per item and all in a quart size see through ziplock bag.

In uniform, no restriction, out of uniform, check your bag with your Costco bottle of lotion!

This is correct if you are not a Super Secret Selectee. I have worn my uniform through security in EWR, ANC, MEM, and MCO to avoid the liquid ban. However, recently I had a trip revision in OAK that required us to rush to the terminal for a DH on United. Unfortunately, we were "random" selectees. Since we were selectees, the TSA wizzes confiscated all of our liquids.
