Or the 90 day furlough notice.

Oh never-mind, cancel that we need you for another pay period.

One thing is consistent, the incompetence will continue.

I heard there is maintenance planning through 2020. Nothing after that.

Master of the obvious. Did you pat yourself on the back for such a witty retort?

Even if they can make parts, it will be difficult to support when the MD breaks in Chengdu or Almaty. I don't think they will replace the MD. They will just take it to the boneyard and shrink the Airline even more. 1800 Pilots here in 2022. 1000 by 2030.

New Hires in there 30's are idiots to stay here. A plan or not.

They don't want an Airplane. Never Have. And it takes years to buy a New Airframe and get all the paperwork and training done. So obviously they are not replacing the MD. They have about 12-18 month window. We shall see.

Flew from DBX to CGN a month back. Had a jumpseater in engineering and formerly in aircraft acquisition. Had many interesting things to say. The most notable being that the MD was here for another 15 years. He had been lining up suppliers for parts. No "new" airplanes since used ones could be had for pennies on the dollar.
