Can you tell me more details about the "flight crew basing" deal at Mac?

Default Yes full Salary from day 1

I completed OE last month and I can honestly say the company has been good to me so far. I received full salary from day 1 of initial training.

Default Part time??

MAC doesn't have part time work but however you can work part time somewhere else if it does not interfere with MAC. MAC is your priority job.

I manage several other aircraft. MAC management do not have a problem with my outside job as long as I track my hours closely and keep them informed if I reach "x" amount of hours per month /a year.

That's it? No connections? I feel like you're leaving out some very important detail...

The way I understood it is as follows: You're based in one of the major metropolitan cities (posted on their website) and they buy you an airline ticket to/from wherever they need you. Three weeks on, one off. Usually travel out Sunday night/Monday morning and travel back Friday night/Saturday morning (weekends off at home). I don't know if that's how it actually happens, but that's what I heard.

Are all MAC pilots in CASS? If so, what airlines can you jumpseat on?

Anyone on here care to answer some questions about MAC, specifically the MEM ATR floater position? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Not blacklisted, but rather that FedEx does not poach from its own feeders. Leave MAC, Empire, etc and work somewhere else awhile then applying at FedEx I hear gives good results. Have also been told this by FedEx pilots.

Yes, all are in CASS. We also have Known Crewmwmber but will pay for that ourselves starting next year ($48 cost has been mentioned).

Current JS list includes UA, DL, JB, Virgin America, Spirit, FedEx, UPS, American. US Airways, we are in the system but it is up to the Captain. Working on agreements with Southwest and Frontier.

Note: these are mainline only, the current list of regionals is:

Silver, Air Wis, Hageland, Mesa, Expressjet, Envoy, Empire, Piedmont, Shuttle America. Republic-working on official agreement but they are generally good to us. PSA - have an agreement but outstations can be problematic. Working on agreement with Skywest.
