What's the problem anyway? Are people wearing white mesh shirts and black leather chaps to work?
A white shirt
Dark blue pants
Black shoes
How difficult is this ??
Some white shirts are whiter than others.
Some dark blue pants will fade quicker than others.
We will never look identical, so why do they get wrapped around the axle about it??

The uniform police are going to have a hard time trying to identify who is or isn't currently on a trip - thus requiring compliance. If I am jumpseating and hanging out in the AOC - I could be in a partial uniform setup with the jacket / hat of my choosing...completely legal. I'm guessing that this will all be a moot point and difficult to enforce - especially at every location outside MEM.

...
On the contrary. I think we should do nothing about the announcement.
Exactly. And if tomorrow the new System Chief Pilot wants us to all wear brown belts and white shoes, that's his prerogative. It should have ZERO influence on the terms of a ratifiable CBA.
FOCUS.
I'm sure Rock was just joking ... right?
As for the ALPA Uniform Committee approving or even being involved in the changes ... it wouldn't be the first time they've claimed collaboration that did not occur. I'm just surprised that McDonald went after the leather jacket before the parka. I guess the parka was Orlando's pet peeve.
