That's a horse of another color entirely. One cannot be controlled and the other can. Besides, why is it always guys who are not only not on the seniority list, but who probably never will be, pushing for a single pay scale for FedEx. If the crew force wanted it, they'd put it at the top of the negotiations priority list. If it's not there, Thanks for your input, now please stop stirring the pot. This pilot group has enough issues, without you (generic guys) adding $h!t to the pile.

The crew force wanting something and our elected leadership not supporting the notion means it will never get to the table and never be on any poll asking if we would support it!

Seems to me that we should be able to argue things without getting personal. I appreciate the perspective of those who have retired, in particular, and those who don't work for the company and have an opinion. Conversation is good, whether or not people agree, at least I think so.
I would be supportive of 757 drivers getting the bulk of the raises. I doubt there will ever be a single pay scale (though I'm sure the company would love to get us all down to narrow body pay). But I think there are many wide body pilots that would be willing to vote for something to get the 757 guys closer to the rest of us.

Hey JetJock, I agree with MaxKts. Why don't you take your 3300+ posts, your A and B plans and enjoy your retirement. You are worse than an old retired AF O-6 that still goes to the BX so he will get saluted driving on base to park in the reserved parking up front. Please for the love of God, shut your cake hole and let us deal with FedEx. I promise you and everyone else this, when I retire I won't bother you either.

Hey Doorknob, with all of two posts. I'll go against what I said previously and get personal. Obviously you don't have any balls, so you had to make up a new name for yourself.
I'll make up a third one for you. Loser.

You'd do well to do more reading and less typing for a while, and you owe Jetjok an apology. FoxHunter is the one you should be attacking.
I keed, I keed.
Seriously, though -- that was out of line.

And that would be the start of the decertification of ALPA at FedEx. They can adapt to us being a freight carrier or they can hit the road.
