So...did the Japanese ever stand trial for the rape of Nanking? The Palawan massacre? The occupation of Nauru? The massacre of Manila?
Sheesh...those guys paid the ultimate price. Seems petty and pathetic they are naming them in a lawsuit.
A-holes.

FedEx should sue Japan for building Narita in such an awful high-wind area. 10 million dollars for each pilot, plus whatever an MD-11 was worth at the time, plus the cost of reimbursing all of the customers for the lost product, and then for all of the lost revenue.
They could even class action with some of the airlines that have had wind related incidents there....
Some LT rented a plane from the Kadena aeroclub in Okinawa.
Had an engine failure and ended up crashing into a building. I don't think anyone died, but his entire face was crushed in.
He sat in Japanese prison for 21 days (they hold pretty much any US military personnel for at least that amount before letting them out on "bail") before he could get back to Hawaii or wherever to get his face reconstructed.
He then had to return to Japan and stand trial. He was banned from Japan for life, and all of his descendents were banned for like 50 years or something.
Had he been a Japanese citizen, there's no doubt he would have received the death sentence.
