Can't quote current policies, but it has been a FedEx Express policy in the past to give preference to current employees when interviewing for any company position as long as the applicant has the stated qualifications. Although with the current nuttiness emanating from cubicle city, anything is possible....
But I think that they have to have an opening first. So the internal applicants used to be the first interviewed when hiring, but the window has to be open first....

Procedures and maneuvers position is a 27 starting at @ 84K, On a 4 week bid month you work 19 days. A 5 week bid month is 23 days. 4-5 hard days off a month
