Fdx disapproved, insufficient reserves

Much better solution is to invest $20 for seeing a doctor about your eye problem....inability to see sitting Reserve that day. Also, don't forget to ask for the full battery of tests to ensure that the problem is minor. If enough folks would invest the $20 this way, their purse strings would be opened often and JP's war on logic would be set back somewhat.

Thanks App Dude....unfortunately I'm a droid type....no Iphone (anymore). What kind of luck are people having with FXCal and giving away r-days? I may download the app on my wife's ipad just for this day if I thought it would work!
As for the max open, it's 14ish with only 1 stby open for that day! And there are 7 guys on......

FWIW, heard this story back when JL was the SCP.
Buddy of his from
Was in his office BSing when some scheduling manager called. Seemed some captain had called in sick for a trip. They looked up the history and the guy had tried to drop the trip something like 23 times, all denied. Then he calls in sick.
JL says to his buddy "Can you believe this idiot? Does he really think we don't know what is going on?"
JL's buddy says "Who is the idiot? This captain tried to tell you 23 times that he was not going to fly this trip, and now you act surprised?"

Reserve Line = Indentured Servitude. This is why many won't upgrade at 100%. Having escaped the clutches of no ability to get certain days off (especially since your friendly schedulers can slide an R day into what was previously an "off" day), no one is eager to go back into R-day servitude again.
What JetJok said. If you are on Reserve, and absolutely positively need a certain day off, and our sad history of Insufficient Reserves history is "what it is," your mo' betta' option is the "Big Scheduling Eraser."
