Typical Route for FDX pilots based in OAK
#61
Three men, professional airmen, brothers and peers of ours here at Fedex have been indicted by this buffoon as somehow deserving the fate they suffered because his feelings got hurt by comments on an internet forum.
I'm sure many here would enjoy meeting you at a cocktail party now, James.

And my not mentioning my stint in the USAF doesn't mean it didn't occur.
Accusing me of being a terrorist is even more uncalled for. Guy wants to know how operations out of OAK work and he's now Al Quaeda. It's just such a laughably extreme, if not completely moronic, conclusion.
Second: What part of "Guy wants to know how operations out of OAK work" would not lead to a possible assumption that maybe the person (of unknown background) had ill intent?

While what has sadly (and obviously in his case) become uncommon sense, he should know that there are some things (even in internet knife fights) that are simply too low and out of bounds.
I'm not even a FDX guy and I'm disgusted by that reference.
James, you're clearly not, never could have been and never should be an professional aviator. Your skin is too thin, your intellect too shallow and your class non-existant. Go back to the online poker rooms or wherever else you slithered out of. You deserve to be the cubicle monkey you are.

Not one of you thinks the comments about me being a terrorist were too low???? Nary a soul said anything about that. That's hypocrisy.
Flt 705 comment was to suggest that Calloway may not have been the only disgruntled airman to work/have worked for FedEx. I wasn't referring to that fateful day as being comedic. It was tragic. Calloway's story is tragic. But some of you sound so paranoid that you may be well on your way to the level of mental instability that unfortunately plagued Calloway. Not that anyone will ever take this seriously, but if any of you really do have anger issues and are grumpy in general....get some help. <--- I actually do not mean this as a put down. It's a little time-out from this knife fight. I know you're not likely to be the types to take that well, but I can't help but to think that at least one poster in this thread does not have some issues going on that couldn't be checked out. Just saying.

And fwiw I'm actually quite pleased with my career decision. I joke around about it, but I'm home every night with my family and I get to work with many really nice, fun people. The grass is greener on the other side. Dreams of being a career pilot tend to see only the glamorous side of the job. There's a lot of headache associated with it that gets overlooked by day dreamers.
Ok it's time to bury this thread forever. The amusement is dead. You all believe what you believe, and I believe what I believe. We are not the same and I doubt any of you would ever want to be me and I know I definitely don't want to be any of you. So voila. You have your team, I have mine. Game over. (Hand shake)

I think he needs to fill out the "butt-hurt" form over on the Delta thread.

The way it was stated was not at all suggesting that there may be more than one disgruntled employee at FDX! You stated it as to say Calloway was justified in his actions!
About being a terrorist - you have not shown us any proof that you may not be one. Every time inconsistencies appear in your story you change it or you attack the messenger!
