FDX - Name change question

[QUOTE=TonyC;1625296]If I did, I wouldn't have made the above claim, duh.
So, tell us what happened to the individual who was denied passage because of something oh his company ID. Was he detained in a secure room until the next flight departed the offended country and then promptly deported? Did he have to spend the night on the airplane and then take the next flight out of country? Was he fined? Was he unable to complete his trip? Where exactly did this happen?
I don't even show my ID to Customs and Immigrations Officers -- all they want to look at is my Passport. I'd like to know exactly who has a problem with Company ID cards.
Beijing China and the pilot was detained for a few hours then placed on the next flight back to SFO, UAL I believe. about 6-8 years ago. Not sure of the exact details, but the pilot told me their ID did not match up with passport/visa (slight name difference) and the entry letter didn't help.

... about (2 year span) ...
Not sure of the exact details ...
That sounds like a story missing a few details, or an urban myth. If it were true, I am absolutely convinced that it would be a Company REQUIREMENT to have the name on the ID match the name on the Passport. It is not a Company requirement. Ergo ...
Not your fault -- I'll bet "the pilot" telling you the "story" omitted an important detail or two.

Yessiree.....every night hub turn (and days for that matter).........kinda sad I think, 55-60 year old guys standing in a little circle punching each other in the shoulder or giving each other the quick nose up nod....."Hey Booger, Hey Clap, Hey Skank....." Really? Does your Grand Kid call you Booger?
