imagine this "Munch munch munch slurp (Chicken wing noises)…..so hey Scott….(chew, chew, celery snap )what's the deal with the 'Wolf Pack' and all the charters man?"

If everyone that went mentioned it to the block rep, it might get a little attention. If you just sit behind your screen in your reserve uniform (Sweaty boxers and t-shirt) then nothing will happen…..turn the 12 angry men into the twelve hungry and inquisitive men……you also might get a nice update from the negotiating committee. I'll be there will you?

They didn't exactly have a Question and Answer period, did they?

I asked the MEC Chairman who would be the new Chairman of ALPA President's Committee for Cargo. He said it wasn't up to him ... yeah, right.

Negotiating Committee Member AM told me that he had confirmed that it is not possible to "recyle" Priority Make-Up. (When I asked him if we would have a ratified CBA before SS runs again for ALPA President, he told me I asked loaded questions. )

That was pretty sneaky how you motivated your daughter to climb the rock wall by starting the climb yourself, and then letting her beat you. Do you want me to send you the pictures, or can I just post them here?

"Negotiating Committee Member AM told me that he had confirmed that it is not possible to "recyle" Priority Make-Up. "

I'd believe a line pilot giving this a try before a negotiating committee member that probably doesn't fly much (no offense to the negotiator). Anyone out there have some OTP and want to try it for us? Or, has anyone done it before and verified it can or cannot be done? I'd give it a try, but I never get OTP, plus, we rarely get any freaking trips in open time anyways!

I'd be glad to try but have never had more than 6 hours. I'm just going off the words of a few self admitted recyclers..one of them told me it's a glitch in VIPs software that allows it. For the life of me I can't see why a guy would drop his own trip he used OTP to grab only to pick it back up himself if it wasn't to switch trip codes. PMU to MU

How was "recycling" defined?

You aren't kidding, second half of trip looks VERY painful. The two long intl deadheads are what makes it relatively appealing in this dying bid pack.

You can pick up trips of higher value than what you have in PMU. I have personally picked up 9CH trips using PMU of 6CHs.

Who's to say someone can't pick up a 30, 40, 50 CH trip with 6CHs of PMU (for the "priority"), drop, pick back up (of course they know exactly when that trip will hit open time and have another VIPS page already loaded to pick that trip back up), wash rinse repeat. I have been told that some have figured out that by doing that, the 60 day (2 month window) starts all over - i.e., the "glitch". This is what I'd like to know if is true or not.

He did not say he tried it himself. He said he asked about the practice, and the answer he got was that it was not possible.

I did not ask who he asked. I did not ask if anybody had tested it by trying it. In fact, I didn't even ask about it. He actually volunteered the information to someone at the table who asked him for the "latest rumors", and I just thought I would repeat it here in response to Laughing_Jakal's encouragement for us to attend the ALPA Party and ask questions.

Use Priority Make-Up to pick up a trip from Open Time, then drop the trip to have the Credit Hours added back to the Priority Make-Up bank.

That was the verbiage he used -- I shortened it to "recycling". He said it couldn't be done.

Whether it's in fact true or not, it's the perception (reality) they are working with. If someone can provide screen shots to disprove that, maybe we could do some education.

Scheduling says so. It's like CIC.

6 hrs of PMU = 12 hrs of pickup power
