Honestly, these last couple of months on the Airbus, it's been the worst I've ever seen, trying to fix schedules. Nothing in open time, when a trip comes in, even a crappy trip, it's gone in a few minutes. Or less. Sick time gone in the first five minutes it's released. Makes you wonder, is everyone building their lines up, even the senior guys? It's really fatiguing, and when we start losing more airplanes and SIBA trips, and the senior guys won't retire until they either get sick or their 65th birthday, I only see it getting worse.
I kind of want to change airplanes, but I can't stand the thought of going back to training for months.

Not on the bus. If there's a "wolfpack" on the bus, they must be getting them before they even go to open time. Or maybe the management guys are getting them, they aren't even released. Very rare to see an extra (except for an occasional out and back, or recovery after a bad weather day), haven't seen a charter in probably over a year.

Heads up. Harassing a fellow pilot with calls, etc has gotten girls fired and last chance letters in the past. Don't harass the charter hogs. Word is there is work in progress on this issue. Don't create a lot of subplots that hurt the case by ignoring rules against creating a hostile workplace.

Hopefully no one is holding their breath for too long. FedEx management doesn't care how the trips get flown as long as they go. I'll buy a bottle of bourbon and leave it at the popcorn machine if anyone gets fired over this.
