How do you pick up charters on your SICK footprint? I thought you could not pick up any trips on a footprint of a SICK trip even if you call in WELL a few days prior to the end of the footprint. i.e. call in sick 7 day trip, call in well two days later then pick up a trip on the 3rd of the 7 day footprint. These guys are doing it.

I've said it before. Lose a trip and its not your fault, go home and get paid. No otp. No sub.

I actually don't realize anything here to be honest. No one here, and that includes you (person reading this post - unless you're Lakeside) knows how he does it. They're have been several people come on here and say "that's exactly how he does it....blah, blah, blah." I do agree that he's got an inside edge on all you guys and it ****ing you off - would probably **** me off too if I was effected but I'm not. I don't have a horse in this race. I'm an outsider (not MD-11) trying to bring objectivity to this witch hunt. In my opinion, it's either Albie's suggestion (collusion with a scheduler - which I imagine the scene from The Departed where Matt Damon is texting on a phone in his pocket) or a bot telling him it's coming (which I find very difficult to believe). OTP recycling is not it though. You can't get that lucky that many times recycling OTP - which evidently you can't do anyways. It's funny that people are making claims on here that they have no idea what they're talking about (OTP recycling). Unlimited OTP? What the hell is that? It doesn't exist - you're making stuff up. The truth needs to come to life here and in time I believe it will. Hell, I'll even email my block rep on your behalf and tell him the boys on the MD-11 are gettin' screwed by Lakeside and we need the truth - provided we can handle the truth.

And I'm writing here because I over-heard an F/O on the crew bus last night talking about the "Wolfpack" and OTP recycling. Dumbasses are reading this forum and think it's all fact when most is just conjecture presented as fact.

Actually, it's done with smoke, mirrors and ball bearings.

I don't think you can use OTP or M/U in a SCK footprint. But, you can pick up a trip MUS in the SCK footprint. MUS doesn't rise to the top of the heap like OTP does, does it? If not, then picking up nice trips in a SCK footprint implies they are either hawking open time legitimately, or perhaps there's inside knowledge, collective action, or something else we haven't hit on yet?

One thing I haven't seen discussed is possible "Wolfpack" tactics. Do we know if the pack is picking up everything they can collectively, then swapping it among themselves? What happened to the x-pairing JS was on, that he no longer has...does one of the other "Wolfpack" brethren now have that trip or was it cancelled?

I also noticed that many of the "Wolfpack" appear to call in SCK a lot--especially over Thanksgiving and Christmas.

No it doesn't. It either has equal or less priority than regular makeup. But yes, in a sick footprint you can use MUS, that's all you can do, I believe.

You are kidding right? On a different channel and a different night this is called redistribution.

Actually, isn't this how they are supposed to assign volunteer trips? Not that it's followed, I'm sure they give trips to the people they know will take them every time.
