I have to disagree with the statement I made bold. If they have been, it's the longest investigation in FDX history.

Those with the power to fix it, Scheduling, are not interested in submitting to an investigation or taking any action that would result in punishing their own. The phrase "Crimes against crew members" is an oxymoron in the established culture. There is no problem at all from their perspective.

I think Flt management has been given the task to convince us it has been investigated to the utmost of their ability. Riiiiight.

Not saying individuals are not to be held up as the culprits. But they wouldn't continue to get away with it if management was as interested in this as they are in FDA HA eligibility.

So why now????….why the traction now???? Some guy with 8 posts comes in and torches off a match on a fire, and now we're all calling our block reps over something that has been a problem for years.

Man….If I were a manager, I'd use a screen name that has 8 posts total and get the twelve angry guys all stirred up and get them to call up their block reps and distract them on an issue that had really very little impact to the entire crew force…(Despite the fact that it irritates the hell out of me)…..if nothing else, maybe they will trade something to get something done to the offenders…….better yet, ALPA will be distracted by HAVING TO DEFEND five guys whose heads were called for…..wait for it…wait for it….. by the membership!

I don't know this AyFkm…though I don't come on here very often…..8 total posts as of know. First two were required…agreeing to the rules and introducing yourself…which he did, but must have been in a hurry to post, because he did that twice. Really must have wanted posting privileges. Posted once on the Mesa Board….then posted three times here….each one fanning flames…..one thread started…….about this. It could very well be a cubicle commander……..especially during negotiations…..it would be especially rich to have ALPA leading the charge to discipline someone…..

I wonder if we're close to a contract and Management is making sure they don't leave a dime on the table.
Not management, never will be. Just signed on to APC cause I am sick of people screwing other pilots. Ie 4A2B draft hogs, non members, these clowns getting all the charters then lying, and people say "Oh , but he is a great guy!" ******* that. All these people would stab you in the back to jump ahead. I wouldn't put it past everyone of these people to cross a union line. Would never try to distract from the contract, but this was brought up in the last union meeting, were you there?!?, the union said we do not discipline our members. A captain asked the question, not an fo.

I kept going back month after month and then into the previous year! I bid around 15% in the right seat of the 11 and I could only dream of flying the schedule I saw J.S. flying month after month. First thing I said to him when the Capt went back for his rest period was "so you're a BOT guy". Of course he denied it and gave me all kinds of "I hawk open time" and a lot of other B.S. I just left it at, "you must be the luckiest guy at Fx then" and quit listening to his B.S. Thing is, in the last year I hear his name come up on almost every flight I fly. The 11 FO's, and a lot of the Capts, know who he is and I have seen a dramatic increase in the level of "****ed". I know a lot of guys are starting to call their reps about it. Maybe if enough of us shake the cart something will fall out.
I RFO'd for him too. I played dumb and asked him about the lines he likes to bid yadda yadda yadda...out came the BS...he's A BS-er. I lost all respect for him. I am surprised he and his homies think they can act this way, show lack of respect and think that we are so dumb that we will not figure out what they are doing.

LIARS and CHEATERS....all of them, including those on the inside.

Again, I emailed my block rep, expressing disappointment, I hope you all od the same. It's easy.

His response was, "ALPA does not discipline their own. We are aware of it."

I replied, something along the line of, they are violating ALPAs Code of Ethics, and therefore, ALPA should act.

If our own MEC is not responsive, is it worth a shot to present this problem to ALPA National???

So true. I think I got that message on the 3 trips that JS beat me on this month.

Heard he turned himself in 1 yr or so ago after someone showed up in China somehow without a passport.

Somehow if I figured out how to stop paying my dues, I imagine they would figure out a means of disciplining me.
