Default Vac slide FDX

I have vac first week in March. I slid it 5 to the right during the Feb bidmonth bid. Is it now anchored in place? Can I slide it one to the left now? If I have 42 hours and get a 30 hour trip to the left and a 42 hour trip to the right I can expand and knocked them both out? Is my vac footprint still only the 7 days, can I pick up a better trip in the footprint of the one I wiped out using MUV?

To answer your questions; 1. YES, 2. No, you can only slide it once but you can expand it. 3. No, you can only expand to 6 hours over what you have for vacation. 4. YES, still a 7 day footprint. 5. YES.
Hope this helps,

Seems like you are hosed if you have to slide the first week of the month before you have even seen the bidpack.

Yes. You will only be able to expand up to 18 hours. If you do nothing you will roll the unusable hours to your next vacation. Hope this helps.

Thanks I think I got it. Another question. Have 7 day vac second week in APR. What if i slide that to knock out a large Mar carryover trip then bid reserve the end of APR. When I use vac for the 40 hour carryover, would I also use the vac for the Rdays? Would I sit 15 Rdays if they did not touch vac or would I sit 7 Rdays? Thanks.

What would you owe them if you did not have the vacation? That would depend on whether you protect min days off or not. Same with the vacation. To maximize your Apr days off knock out the C/O trip with vacation then expand your vacation to cover the R days up to 42 hours (C/O and Vacation combined). Or you could go in the hole by extending your April vacation and knocking out a big trip.

7.G.3.c and 7.G.3.e.i

Figure out how many vacation hours you will have left after you knock out the C/O trip and then use that number in the formula for calculating vacation days on a reserve line. The formula is in the section 7 of the contract. Just use the number of hours remaining in place of (7x6) and only add 6 if you want to use more than 42 hours of your bank.
