Default FXCal Bidding Days off Sort

So I'm using FXCAL for the first time to bid. labeled my days off, and I can't get FXCAL to sort or grade on days off. I watched the tutorial, and made sure I had the latest update. What am I doing wrong? Gives grades of Zero to days off even when I made sure to "toggle" grading on for that.

When I hit the sort button, and select Max desired days off....it doesn't sort by the days I indicated I wanted off.

Help

Had this same problem. emailed the owner. Solution is doing specific steps in order.

1) input the commute- apply & save
2) then input the days off
3)then sort by days off wanted.

If you enter the days off wanted before entering the commute it will not work. He said he's working on the program so it is not order specific, but at least in teh free version it has been that way since October or earlier

Thanks Olly,

I figured it wasn't "Just me" and there was some critical step I was missing.….Is there a Pay version yet? I subscribe to FXCAL, I have yet to see where I go for the "pay version"….though I am so junior, I really just bid reserve lines.

i'm not a subscriber, as all I can hold is a vto, with a random chance of getting one of the last lines. So I just use the free "lite" version he made available on the company ipad.

The problem is not a function of free or paid version, it is how the software was coded. The sort functionality is dependent on plugging in the variables in a very specific order, which is I don't recall being mentioned in any of the tutorials or user notes. He did say he needed to fix that, but didn't say when that update would happen.

Olly-
Thanks for answering this for me.
Great explanation.

FxBidLite is the bidding only portion of FxCal, so it had a chance to not get on the company blacklist.
