Default TSA policies, access denied

Learned yesterday that unless I was at the service center specifically for work duties, and even though I am a full time and properly identified (badge) employee ......... there is no access into the service center building in order to take care of company business on the computers ............... According to manager that I called, this is a TSA policy that was brought about effective 2012 .............. Has anyone here been denied access for similar situation ?
What say you ?

I recently learned that if i was at my place of employment outside of my working hours I could be considered as trespassing. This is the techinical side of the rule, but I know that it has been used at least once in the time I've been on the job. This isn't a TSA rule that I know if in my case - but it seem to be geared along the same lines. If you aren't AT WORK, DOING WORK, AND GETTING PAID, you ought not be in the office. This was quite a different mentality from the 24/7 ideals of the military. I spent a lot of time outside my *duty* hours at the squadron at different times in my career.

I would email your fleet Captain, Charles Y, the security guy at fedex for flight, Preston G, the ALPA security guy, your block rep, and between one of them, you might get a useful quick answer. (My money is Charles Y will get back to you first...and have a useful answer)

This has happened to me before. A few years ago, I moved and wanted to change my direct deposit info on the green screen and couldn't access it on my home computer. So, I went to ORD, made it to a computer in Ops., and then was escorted (with my ID on!) by security off the property. Their BS answer I got was that if I wasn't there to operate a trip or jumpseat, then I couldn't be there.

Dawg ........ I believe this is the same policy now company wide and they are using the TSA rules for justification. My problem was exactly as yours in being unable to obtain the GREEN SCREEN using the protocols provided on my home computer, spent lots of time trying to get the settings to agree with what is mandated, and I am using Explorer version 11, nothing works !!! I even just had a long conversation with an IT guy from Flight Ops, he tried walking me through the set up and it still does not work ............ We are being expected to comply with company policy and procedures yet they don't give us a decent and workable avenue to accomplish this ........... It comes down to spending $$$ to get a good fix to anything around here and I don't think it is important enough to someone. So, I will have to make my drive into flight ops today and get on the computer there (unless someone gets me escorted out because I am not working today) and get this issue resolved there ..................
