FDX Bidding Question
OK, let's say I have 10 hours of carryover.
Now, say I bid a line that does not conflict with my carryover, but it only pays 63 hours. Mind you, I can fly the entire 63 hours without conflicting with my carryover, and I intend to do so.
Would my BLG be 73 hours? (10+63)
Or would my BLG be 78 hours? (10+63+5 hours of buy up)
I would like to know the answer before I bid.
I will call and ask contract administration, but I think someone else on this board might be interested in the answer to my situation as well.
Thanks for your help.

Here's another scenario:
Still have 10 hours of carryover.
Still have 63 hour line, but now 6 hours conflicts with my carryover, so it will be dropped, and I won't make it up.
57 hours does not conflict, and I will fly it.
So, do I still get the 5 hours for buy up?
So, 10 plus 57 is 67, plus 5 hours more for 72?

You have 10 hours of Carry-In, which has nothing to do with Bid Line Guarantee or Minimum Bid Line Guarantee.
If the line you are awarded has a BLG less than the Min BLG, it will be bought up to Min BLG. Conflict with Carry-In is irrelevant in calculating BLG or Min BLG.
1/2 of the BLG (or Min BLG) will be paid on the 15th and the other half will be paid on the last day of the month. Carry-In will be paid on the 15th.
